The last time 9-year-old Levi was seen alive, he was navigating a small boat onto the lake at twilight. Darren Mathews, the Texas Ranger searching for Levi, is also the man who put Levi’s father, the leader of a white supremacist group, in prison. These ties make for a messy web. North Kohala Public Library’s book club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:00am. Books read are nominated and voted upon by book club members at meetings.
