Laupahoehoe Library is challenging library customers to play Bookopoly @ Our Library 2 June through 31 July. Our summer theme is E Heluhelu Kākou: Mele, and Hawaii’s public libraries will be celebrating the power of storytelling through music, chants, and poetry.
Collect stamps for registering for the Summer Reading Challenge and logging minutes/books on Beanstack, attending library events, checking out library materials, and much more. We even encourage you to visit places in the community and other libraries and take pictures with your Bookopoly piece to share.
There will be a weekly learning opportunities where you can explore learning a new language with Mango lanuages or how to find read-a-likes and other book recommendations with Novelist. You can even learn how to play an ukulele or be a country singer via Artistworks.
Ask your library staff for a board to get started!
