Considering attending college but don’t know how to pay for it? Then you should come to the Cash for College: Scholarship and Financial Aid Workshop, sponsored by the Nānākuli Public Library in collaboration with the UH Mānoa Writing Center. This workshop will:

• Break down the costs for higher education
• Discuss options for financial aid
• Walk you through how to write a scholarship essay

Participants should bring something to write and take notes with (laptop, pen and paper, etc.) as a significant part of the workshop will be dedicated to helping you get started writing a scholarship essay.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
