Celebrate the Lunar New Year

2023 Year of the Rabbit

Talk story with Dr. Busaba Yip Douglas, Cultural Director of the Wo Hing Museum, who will chat with us about the story of Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rabbit, and the history of the Lion Dance. Recommended for elementary-aged and older.

2023 is the 4720th Chinese year. It is the year of the Water Rabbit, which starts from January 22nd, 2023 and ends on February 9th, 2024. The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture.
