Celebrate Summer Reading! Our summer theme is E Heluhelu Kākou; Moʻolelo, and Hawaii’s public libraries will be celebrating the rich and varied stories that shape our communities.
Barbara Chung Ho offers a customized demonstration and workshop on the folk art of Chinese knotting. She will present a short history, a demonstration of the art, and then invites audience participation. Supplies will be provided. Suitable for ages 10+.

About the presenter:
Barbara Chung Ho was born into a family rich in Chinese tradition and learned Chinese as a second language. She studied the art of papercutting and knotting in Taiwan. She has taught both folk art forms to children from kindergarten through high school.
