Clay Creature Creation

March 28, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Calling all keiki! Join us for a FREE art workshop, and let your imagination run wild as you sculpt air dry clay into fantastical or realistic creatures. If you wish to make a critter that defies gravity, you will learn how to create a skeleton-like base crafted from armature wire to support your clay! No matter what you imagine, your freestanding creations will stand strong as you explore the possibilities of patterns, textures, and details. Will you make creatures you’ve seen in the world around us or ones that are purely invented?

Sponsored in partner with Hui No`eau Visual Arts Center.
