FREE CPR class: there will be a free CPR class at the Lihue Public Library on Wednesday September 10th from 5-630 pm. The class will not offer any type of official certification. Included will be instruction on how to address severe bleeding, a victim of choking, and how to administer naloxone to narcotic overdose victims. The class includes a 30-40 minute presentation followed by CPR and AED instruction on mannequins. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
