Join Mililani Public Library’s Teen Volunteer Council for a special service project! Our mission: collect and decorate shoeboxes to donate to the cats of the Hawaiian Humane Society. These decorated shoeboxes will give the cats a cute and cozy spot to relax in. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. No registration.

Shoeboxes needed! If possible, please bring a clean, empty shoebox or other similar-sized box to decorate and donate (remove the lid). Coloring materials and a limited number of shoeboxes will be available to decorate.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
