In partnership with the East Hawai’i Master Gardeners we will be offering a free gardening workshop.  The indigenous plant that you will be working with is Cranberry Hibiscus.  It is an edible plant rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.  The plant is known to help lower blood pressure and fight inflammation when consumed.  You will learn how to plant, propagate, harvest, and prepare this nutritious plant.  This workshop is aimed for adults.  If interested sign up by calling the library or coming in person.
