Six small envelopes -Pochibukuro

Our favorite eco-crafter Evelyn Nakamura is back with a new craft-pochibukuro or “little bags”

Japanese children frequently receive monetary gifts in little envelopes called “pochibukuro.” Learn to make 3 simple pochibukuro from found materials, then size them up for other purposes. Examples of varied uses for these envelopes and other ways of creating them will be shared. All supplies will be provided to make 6 envelopes.

Class is recommended for teens and adults and seating is limited so please call the library to reserve your seat.  Bring your own pair of small sharp pointed scissors.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
