At 1:00, join artist Rich Rodriguez as he leads a drawing workshop. You’ll learn the basics of how to draw characters (like Stitch, Smurfs, and SpongeBob), using simple shapes. After the workshop, join Rich and the other artists of Comic Jam Hawaii and get your draw on! In this informal social gathering of local artists (professional, aspiring, and hobbyist), participants can have fun and participate where they’re comfortable. Artists do collaborative cartoons, illustrations, and sketches while talking story. All abilities and levels are welcome. Drawings are collected at the end of each session and scanned into their Facebook Group page, Comic Jam Hawaii.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
