In collaboration with Makawao Town’s Chinese New Year Lion Dance Celebration, all are invited to Makawao Library to make crafts celebrating the Year of the Horse and feed lucky envelopes to the dancing lions as they parade through the library!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. 

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
