This program combines storytelling and music recounting the thrilling story and raga of Durga. She is a most famous Goddess of India and South Asia who is celebrated for ten days every year.

Take a journey to India accompanied by an ensemble of story-tellers, dancers, and musicians from the Friends of Indian Music Band. The group will bring to life three tales of heroism, romanticism, and grit featuring classical Indian ragas on North Indian instruments.
