Family Friendly Crafts: Upcycled Magazine Art

Bring your family for a fun day of mixed media crafting using upcycled materials including old magaznes, paper, and fabric.  Create an art piece that tells your mo’olelo (your personal story).  This is a free program and all supplies will be provided.  But feel free to come prepared with your own sillouette shape that will fit in a 8”x11” size paper (a select amount of sillouette images will be provided).  Access to a computer and printer will not be provided so please print ahead of time.

Appropriate for Ages 6+ years (all children must be accompanied and assisted by an adult at all times)

Space is limited, please RSVP by calling Kaimuki Library or stop by the Library Reference Desk .

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
