In partnership with the Neighborhood Place of Kona, the Kailua-Kona Public Library welcomes all ‘ohana to our Family Fun Day event. 

Event highlights: 

• Free car seat safety checks by community police officers
• Keiki craft & goodies
• Community resources
• A complimentary copy of How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk (Faber & Mazlish)

April is recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The month aims to highlight the importance of creating safe, nurturing environments for children and families, and to encourage communities to work together to prevent child maltreatment. 

Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
