Join us for a special presentation of the newly restored film, Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī 1970. Visually stunning, the film is a poetic meditation on music, the gods in the Hawaiian pantheon and the mystique and ancestry of Hana, Maui. Featuring artists ʻIolani Luahine, the Farden Sisters, Gabby Pahinui, Kaʻupena Wong, Palani Vaughan and Eddie Kamae. Presented by ʻUluʻulu Moving Image Archive and distributed by Bishop Museum.
