Financial Literacy: Understanding Credit, Budgeting, & Debt Collection Practices

As part of the “Know Your Legal Rights” series of informational programs, Caitlin Hatakeyama of the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, will provide information on understanding credit reports, budgets, and debt collection practices. Caitlin is an AmeriCorps Member, intake paralegal, and Center for Equal Justice advocate. Caitlin provides advice to clients who are confronting bankruptcy, foreclosure, issues with their landlords, and other legal problems with the goal of broadening access to legal help. This 45-minute informational program is suitable for ages 18 and older.

Sponsored by the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i and AmeriCorps.
