Beginning on February 12th, free tax prep services will be provided by certified AARP volunteers. This service is on a walk in, first come first served basis. This service is on Thursdays from 9:30am to 1:00pm.  The last day the service will be provided will be on April 12th. There will be no service on Thursday, March 26th in observance of Prince Kūhio Day.

Suggestions on what to bring with you:

• Prior year returns
• All tax related documents
• Photo ID
• Social security cards for all people listed on the tax return including all dependents. (If you have a pink striped SSA statement with the SSN clearly shown, you may use this document.)
• Pension statements
• If you want direct deposit, bring a check from your bank or an account statement with the full account number
• Please summarize your medical expenses or charitable contributions is you have more than 2.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
