Join us on Tuesday, July 7, for a free woodwind trio concert and demonstration featuring talented young musicians from the Hawaiʻi Youth Symphony’s Orchestral Learning Alliance (OLA) program. Three fellows visiting from across the continent will present an engaging program showcasing the artistry and versatility of woodwind music.

Performing will be Maya Stock, flute; Brendan Shirk, oboe; and Jason Huang, bassoon. Bios for the fellows can be found at the Pacific Music Institute website (scroll down to Orchestral Learning Alliance).

In addition to sharing their musical talents with audiences of all ages, these emerging artists are excited to connect with aspiring musicians and their families. Following the performance, audience members are invited to stay for an informal conversation about music education, college studies, and career pathways in the arts.

Program is suitable for all ages. All children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.
