Gardening On A Budget Hawai’i Style:

Growing food doesn’t have to be pricey. In this creative workshop, we’ll explore several ways to expand your garden with a thrifty mindset. Turn trash in to treasure for your garden. We’ll discuss unusual garden containers, seed saving, fencing, how to make more plants from your existing plants (propagation) and more! Seeds and plant giveaway!

Program is suitable for age 16 and over. All children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedules are subject to change. Events will not be held on State holidays.
