Growing a Garden: Making the Garden More Permanent

Join us for the third installment of this fall’s Gardening Series with Ka`u farmer Ted Bennett!

He’ll discuss utilizing herbs, perennials, shrubs and trees, to increase the soil fertility, deepen the root systems and grow the shade. We’ll have plenty of time for Q & A as well.

This 45 minute program is suitable for ages 8 and up.

 

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
