Growing a Lei Garden

September 23, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Strands of flower leis

Join Master Gardener Pam Hinsdale to learn which plants commonly grown in Hawaii you should consider when creating your lei garden, and some of the growing conditions that help them thrive.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Kaimuki Public Library and the O’ahu Master Gardener Program, part of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR), University of Hawaii at Manoa.  This one hour program will be held in our ground floor Meeting Room.

Browse and borrow our books on growing Hawaiian flowers and plants, and lei customs in Hawaii as well!

All programs are subject to change.  If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
