Hanafuda Hawai’i’s founder, Helen Nakano, will tell the story of Hanafuda Pilina. These cards turn the game of hanafuda into a tale about the many different indigenous and invasive plants and animals in the Hawaiian Islands. After that, participants will get to learn and play Hanafuda!
