Come to Waikīkī-Kapahulu  Public Library every Tuesday at 2:00pm and learn how to play chess! From the very basics to strategy instruction, all levels of chess players and ages are encouraged to join. The instructor, Lou Tomsic, is a Class B player, United States Chess Federation (USCF). On days that Lou is not able to come in, patrons are still encouraged to come and play with other chess enthusiasts!

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
