History of Hawaiian Quilts

Karen Barry, owner of Quilt Passions, will discuss the history and preservation of Hawaiian quilts.  Karen and her husband have recently opened the Kona Hawaiian Quilt Museum and Gallery, the first museum like it in the State of Hawaii, which is dedicated to preserving and sharing Native Hawaiian culture through fabric.
