Richard Esterle has been a resident of North Hawai‛i for nearly 30 years. In the Fall of 2018, he successfully completed his dissertation, “Holistic Health and Hawaii’s Renewable Energy Future”, based on his survey research study, part of which took place in Honoka`a.

Dr. Esterle’s specialization is in health psychology, which is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the application of psychological knowledge and techniques to health, illness, and health care. Results of Dr. Esterle’s dissertation research study will be discussed. Please join in the conversation.
