Please join us for a free lecture viewing of “Honoring D-Day – Echoes of Valor & Victory” brought to you by Road Scholar.  Learn about and honor D-Day, June 6, 1944, when Allied forces overcame Hitler’s “Atlantic Wall,” marking a pivotal moment in the liberation of Europe.

Road Scholar is a non-profit that offers thousands of learning adventures, serving 80-100,000 participants annually. Their program combines travel and education to provide experiential learning opportunities featuring an extraordinary range of topics, formats and locations, in nearly every state in the U.S., nearly 100 countries and aboard ships on rivers and oceans worldwide.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
