The Alzheimer’s Association, in collaboration with AARP-Hawaii, and Lihue Public Library, welcomes HHSC physician Dr Kanwardeep Singh Kaleka to the monthly Listen and Learn Lecture series on Kauai. Dr Kaleka will explore the cycle of psychological symptoms commonly associated with dementia: anxiety, agitation, and insomnia.  An overview of symptoms, why these symptoms occur, and what can be done to address and treat them. This program is open to the public and free of charge.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
