The Hawaii Positive Engagement Project (HPEP) presents a 2-hour craft and engagement experience.
Parent and keiki will make a resin keychain, take photos of the experience, then make a book and “talk story” about the experience.
HPEP staff will help participants engage and connect to each other through a crafting activity using the SHELLS+ concept (SHELLS+ concept video).
Program is suitable for ages from 7 and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver; at least one adult per child participating.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required.
All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit the HSPLS Events Calendar.
