Kathy Sprinkle is an artist, writer, and founder of the Grief Heart Project. Her work focuses on helping us talk more openly about grief and the people we love. After losing her 17-year-old daughter, Jess, in a car accident, Kathy began exploring ways to make these conversations feel more natural through both her writing and community projects. For the first time, Kathy will share a reading from her upcoming book, The Woman Called Grief. Following her reading, Kathy will lead a short, practical discussion about how to talk about grief in everyday life.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
