Scientists use microscopes to help them see very tiny things. This allows them to learn and understand the world around them. Join us to discover the amazing microscopic world hidden in plain sight by using the microscopes that scientists use. All ages are welcome to this program. Feel free to bring something you would like to look at. Can you guess what the images (A-D) are as seen using a microscope?
This program is brought to you by Chaminade University’sI Am A Scientist(IAS) program. A unique free STEM outreach program where professional scientists and university undergraduates teach STEM concepts and skills to students. Students experience success using innovative and career relevant hands-on activities in an exciting and supportive environment. The program is in collaboration with Chaminade’s School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the Data Science, Analytics and Visualization Program, and the United Nations CIFAL Center Honolulu.
