If I Were President…

February 1, 2025 - February 28, 2025

President Lincoln and President Washington debating.

In celebration of Presidents’ Day, during the month of February 2025, the Hawai‘i State Library-Federal Documents Section invites children of all ages to write or draw what they would do if they were President of the United States of America.  Submitted work will be prominently displayed on the Federal Documents Section bulletin board throughout the month of February.

As an alternate activity, coloring sheets of the Presidents will also be available.  Finished works will be displayed for all to view in the Federal Documents Section, creating a gallery of Presidents for the month of February 2025.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
All programs are subject to change. See a schedule of upcoming events on the HSPLS Events Calendar.
