International Dot Day

Celebrate International Dot Day with your family at Kapolei Public Library!

International Dot Day is named for the classic storybook, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds.  This book shares the story of a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after a caring teacher challenges her to “make her mark.”  Over 10 million people in 170 countries will observe International Dot Day, a celebration of creativity, confidence, and self-discovery.

Following a storytime featuring The Dot and other stories, various crafts and art activities will entice keiki to “make their mark”.

This event is appropriate for children of all ages.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

All programs are subject to change.  If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
