Local author, artist, and grandson of Shizuko Teshima will share a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his new children’s book, Grandma Teshima’s Restaurant. Learn about the art and storytelling in the new book.
All attendees to programs and events during the Summer Reading Challenge at Kealakekua Library will receive a raffle ticket for a special branch prize to be drawn at the end of July!
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
