Are you looking for work but don’t know where to start in your search? Do you need help writing a resume that will help you stand out to employers? Are you overwhelmed by the hiring process?
Every Friday at 11:00am, our volunteer job search expert will help you get started and give you resources to find employers in Hawaii so you can start your new career path!

Our volunteer can assist with the following:

  • Email and computer setup so you can communicate with employers
  • Job search tips
  • Drafting or reviewing resumes
  • Interview preparation advice
  • And more!

Appointments may be made by calling 808-622-6345. Appointment slots are for 15 minutes, though the volunteer may be able to work with you longer depending on availability. There is paperwork to fill out ahead of your appointment. Please see the Reference Librarian for a copy of the pre-appointment worksheets.

Job Search Assistance at Wahiawa Library is made possible by our generous community volunteers.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
