Join us for our bi-monthly book club! At this meeting, we will discuss the twists and turns of Laurie R. King’s riveting novel The Beekeeper’s Apprentice. The first in the adventuresome Mary Russell series, King’s novel follows the irrepressible, gawky, egotistical and recently orphaned Russell as she literally falls into the lap of Sherlock Holmes and swiftly takes her place as a deft protégée and fitting partner for the retired Victorian detective.

Meeting place: Friends of Kaimuki Public Library’s bookstore, The Book Cellar. The shop is located on the ground level of the library.
