Kamalama Parenting is a Hawaiian values-based parenting curriculum rooted in the understanding that parents are their children’s first teachers.  Participants will realize how much of their own values and belief systems contribute to their style of parenting.  Each class incorporates a Hawaiian value and positive parenting principles.  Lessons include stories, activities, and a talk story time. The class instructor will be Bridgette Orsatelli from Child & Family Service, who is trained in several parenting programs.

In order to keep the group interactive, registration is limited to 12 families.  If you are able to commit to attending all or most of the sessions, please sign up at the library.  Light refreshments will be served.

Program schedule is subject to change.  Contact the hosting library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
