Kid-Kast — Open Call !!

October 19, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

recording equipment

What is Kid-Kast?  It’s a pod-cast made by kids for kids.  We are looking for two groups  comprised of fourth and fifth graders and two groups of students in grades 6, 7, & 8 with 2 to 4 kids per group.  The first Kid-Kast will creatively air the “coolest new stories and fun facts” in science.  This is a commitment of five Saturdays from October 19 through November 30.  Meetings will be held at 1:00pm.  Learn how to do research on your topic, write and narrate your story, and the technical skills required to produce your kid-kast.  Sign up at the Reference Desk at the library to find out more.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program start.   We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations.  All programs are subject to change.
