Come to Wahiawa Public Library for Saturday morning Lego Club. Participants will be given a creative prompt and a box of Legos to see what they can come up with. Completed creations are displayed in our glass case at the library’s front entrance and throughout the Children’s Room. The challenge for October will be to build a haunted house just in time for Halloween!
Current limit of 32 participants (eight tables with four chairs). Registration required for this event. Please call the library at 808-622-6345 to reserve your space. Event will be held in Wahiawa Library’s meeting room.
The American Institute of Architects (AIA Honolulu) has partnered with Wahiawa Public Library to send volunteer architects to help Lego Club participants with design principles and to answer any questions children might have about design and architecture. Volunteers will attend depending on the their schedules; their presence at the event is not a guarantee.
This event is part of the library’s weekly Kids’ Hour on Saturdays starting at 10am. Programming schedule rotates monthly.
