Kupuna Aikido will present a lesson on safe falling techniques to help decrease the severity of injury from falls, aimed specifically at our community’s kupuna!

“Safe falling” is falling in a way that protects your head and prevents broken bones. Kupuna Aikido teaches safe falling classes across the island. Their mission is to empower kupuna with aikido-based principles to preserve and protect their mobile independence.

Please come to the Reference desk or call us at 808-377-2456 to sign up so we know how many handouts to print!
