Kupuna Aikido’s Safe Falling – a Demonstration

Sensei Bill Doi and his fellow aikidoka (students of Aikido) will demonstrate simple exercises to use in the event of a fall. Learn the techniques used to prevent catastrophic injury and/or death.

Kupuna Aikido is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers fall prevention classes to active seniors in the Liliha and Kaneohe area.  According to their website, their mission is: “to empower Hawaiʻi’s kūpuna with Aikido-based philosophies to preserve and protect their mobile independence.”

Registration required. Limited seating available.
