Honolulu Police Department officials will make free Kupuna ID safety cards for adults ages 55 years and older. There is a form to fill out. The Kupuna ID is not an official ID, but a secondary form of ID containing your photo, emergency contact(s), and medical issues. They will also share walking safety information.

Sign-up is required – please call or stop by the library to register.

All programs are subject to change. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
