Kupuna Aikido’s Safe Falling

Learn the ABC’s of fall prevention with Kupuna Aikido’s Bill Doi. At the end of his presentation, sensei Doi and his fellow aikidoka (students of Aikido) will demonstrate simple exercises to use in the event of a fall.

Kupuna Aikido is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers fall prevention classes to active seniors in the Liliha area.  According to their website, their mission is: “to empower Hawaiʻi’s kupuna with Aikido-based philosophies to preserve and protect their mobile independence.”
