Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, visit the Kailua-Kona Public Library to meet with a Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi representative. The representative is able to assist with the following information needs:

• Accessing vital documents: birth certificates, social security cards, and state IDs
• Completing the online application for extended Legal Aid services

Please note that completing an application for service does not mean that Legal Aid will be able to assist you. Your application will be evaluated by a member of Legal Aid’s intake department for eligibility.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
