Legal Aid At the Library is cancelled for today because the library is closed for holiday.

A representative from the Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i will be here at the library on Mondays from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM to help patrons apply for vital documents, such as:

• Birth certificates
• Social security cards
• State IDs

They can also help with applications for other Legal Aid services, or just point you in the right direction. Bring your questions here!

Program is suitable for ages 18 and up. All children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
