colony of little fire ants

Are you worried about the arrival of Little Fire Ants in Honokaa? Come arm yourself against these unpleasant intruders with information from the best source available, the Hawaii Ant Lab. Melody Euaparadorn, a research assistant at the Ant Lab, will share with us how best to protect ourselves and each other from this troublesome invasive species. Melody has a degree in entomology and has worked on research conservation projects in Hawaii since 2003. Feel free to bring all your questions, as well as any ant samples you may have collected for identification purposes.
