Celebrate local art and artists at a public gallery and reception held in the lobby/ main entrance of Lihue Public Library! All artists are of different backgrounds and skill levels, but they all have one thing in common. Each is a student in Penny Nichols’ art class, which has met and painted at the Lihue Public Library, in the conference room on Tuesdays, for years. All pieces showcase how anyone can become an artist at any stage in their life!
Come join us for a celebration of local art with free refreshments and artist meet & greets. *Note: Art will not be for sale on library premises. This event is to show local talent, not for purchase or sell of art pieces.*
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change
