Join Kahuku HS Alumni Mariaha Ah You, Kēhau Hikila, Lucy Mariteragi, and Ella Uyehara, as they share their new book series.

They will also discuss strategies for using picture books and storytelling to help reduce math anxiety. 

Although the first book is for upper elementary to intermediate school students, the idea of rethinking math concepts to make them more memorable and less daunting applies to all levels of math study. Come out and listen to this inventive story that will help alleviate math-related worries.

Fun math activity to follow. Authors will be available afterward for book purchases and signing.
