March CrafTuesdayAfternoon: an abcde of fun

March 20, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Arts and crafts supplies

Celebrate National Craft Month every Tuesday afternoon during March at Kalihi-Palama Public Library from 1:30-2:30 p.m. March 20 features a cinquain CD book.

Let’s alter scratched and cracked CDs and DVDs into books. First learn how to write a cinquain shape poem with 5 descriptive  lines that don’t rhyme. Then inscribe the lines of your poem on decorated CD or DVD pages to make your own cinquain book just right for National Poetry Month in April. Program size is limited; please call the library at 832-3466 or stop by the Information Desk to reserve a seat.

Suitable for ages 5 and up; keiki under age 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
