Martha Hennessy, granddaughter of Dorothy Day (co-founder of the Catholic Worker), is an activist for peace and nuclear abolition. She has traveled to many war-torn countries in order to learn about the effects of US foreign policy worldwide, and continues to practice works of mercy at Maryhouse Catholic Worker in New York City.
Martha will speak to us on the subject of “peaceful resistance to a world at war.”
